I have been singing professionally for 26 years. I have a Btec National Diploma in Performing Arts, a BA First Class honors in Creative Musicianship and an MA in Vocal Studies. I have been delivering masterclasses and 1-2-1 vocal support to students at the Institute of Contemporary music for over 3 years. I specialise in Pop and R&B technique and have expertise in a wide range of vocal techniques like the Estil, speech level singing and Gospel techniques. I also deliver acapella ensemble sessions as well. I like to discuss the students needs and wants and expectations from the tutoring and tailor lesson plans based on their end goals and then I work out a strategic set of exercises and warm ups to prepare them for singing in their desired style. I also offer vocal health advise for sustaining the voice and discuss the body and how this ties in with the voice.
