I explain what we’re working on and why, giving you clear feedback and practical ways to practise between lessons. Lessons are structured but flexible, with time to explore your interests, ask questions and work through anything you find challenging.
As a professional soprano with training in vocal pedagogy at Berklee College of Music, I bring both performing experience and an understanding of healthy vocal development to my teaching. I work with children, teenagers and adults across classical, musical theatre and pop, adapting my approach to each student’s age, experience and ambitions.
You’ll also learn how to approach unfamiliar music, recognise what your voice needs and practise effectively without simply repeating a song from beginning to end. We can explore diction, phrasing, posture and interpretation, alongside the technical foundations of singing. I choose exercises with a clear purpose and adapt them as your voice develops. My aim is for you to leave each lesson knowing what has improved, what to focus on next and how to work on it independently.
You can expect a warm, encouraging atmosphere where you feel comfortable trying things, alongside focused guidance that challenges you and helps you progress. Whether you’re preparing for an exam or audition, returning to singing or simply doing something you love, we’ll build your technique and confidence together.
