My tutoring experience began during my A-level studies, when I taught science to younger pupils, particularly in biology and chemistry. From 2017 to 2020, I delivered structured and engaging tutoring sessions, developing interactive learning resources to make scientific concepts accessible and build students’ confidence in STEM subjects. I also volunteered as a biology mentor, leading weekly activities and supporting younger students with their learning, as well as delivering science lessons and facilitating workshops in biology and mathematics through youth work. These experiences strengthened my ability to communicate complex concepts clearly, adapt my teaching approach to different learning needs, and create an encouraging environment that motivates students to learn. My academic background in Biomedicine further allows me to bring a strong scientific foundation and enthusiasm for education to my tutoring.
