I give private lessons to children aged 5-15, teaching them vocal technique, performance technique and up to date repertoire.

Each lesson depends on the individuals level of experience and music that they like to listen to or sing, but I always start with some key, core warm ups to open the voice and vocal chords to ensure they are ready to sing. After this, I like to teach a piece, working on it section by section and breaking it down so that my student can have vocal clarity and ask any questions that they may have. This structure allows for regular building on what they have learnt in the last lesson, and easy at home practise. I will also provide sheet music for the repertoire, even if your child cannot read it yet - it is good to get into practise of following along using it.
