ONLINE | GCSE OCR Computer Science tutoring by a current A Level student

I'm an A Level student studying Chemistry, Biology, Geography, aiming for medicine.

What I do:
From my own personal experience I know topics that were taught poorly (and commonly are!) or are quite easy to misunderstand.

What I find in many cases, is, that exam technique and question recognition is essential, especially in OCR Computer Science where the boundaries for a 9 are extremely high (In 2026 you could drop no less than 8 marks overall).

Whilst I am also a student, I will set my personal time aside to create my own resources and tests to identify areas of improvement and a current baseline.

With Paper 1: Content is relatively easy to learn and so will tailor lessons according to weaker topics

With Paper 2: Content Is harder to learn and so will teach skills on how to answer programming questions and algorithm questions

I aim for the lessons to not be a boring PowerPoint slide, but more interactive, with students taught how to break a problem down within the lesson

Resources needed:
WiFi connection, webcam preferable, though not required

Content:
I go through the entire J277 spec thoroughly, focusing on weaker or under-taught areas

If students find it difficult to focus for 1 hour, 45 minute option is available at £9 / 45min
