My lessons are structured, practical, and tailored to each student's level and goals. I'm an IT lecturer with several years of experience teaching BTEC Level 1 to Level 3 IT, Computer Science, and T Level courses, so I'm comfortable working with complete beginners right through to students tackling advanced technical content.
Sessions typically begin with a quick check-in to understand where you're at and what you're finding tricky, before moving into clear explanation, worked examples, and hands-on practice. I believe in learning by doing, so expect to be actively involved rather than just listening.
I can support with a wide range of topics including databases, spreadsheets, networking, programming (Python and more), algorithms and computational thinking, digital business concepts, cybersecurity, and systems architecture. I also support students with coursework, assignments, and exam preparation across BTEC, A-Level Computer Science, and T Level Digital programmes.
My teaching style is calm, patient, and jargon-free — I break things down into manageable steps and won't move on until you're confident. I hold a Level 5 Diploma in Education and Training, so I bring both subject knowledge and genuine teaching expertise to every session.
