English can be difficult to revise, believe me, I've been there. However, my efficient, goal-orientated teaching style will ensure that your child masters the key skills to ace the exams. I have experience working with children KS3 /KS4, currently teaching GCSE English in one of North London's top tuition centres.

Having only sat the exams a few years ago, I am up to date with the syllabus, and this enables me to teach in a relatable and pragmatic manner. Your child does not need to spend hours revising English, they just need the tools to study effectively. I am here to provide them.

As you may be aware, your child needs to pass English Language to pursue further education. As a result, English Language will be my main focus,
In my lessons, we will focus on exam technique, comprehension, essay practice and articulation, all of which are required at GCSE. Many of my students are unfamiliar with the paper structure and assessment objectives for each question, which compromises the quality of their answers, preventing them from scoring top marks ( level 6). We will tackle this in depth. I am also looking to ensure that your child doesn't only just pass but aim for 7-9- with patience and persistence, every student has the potential to achieve this!

Regarding English Literature, we will focus on comprehending key themes of texts, whilst mastering essay writing skills and exam technique.

Literature: I can teach Inspector Calls
Shakespeare : Merchant of Venice , Macbeth
Poetry: All exam boards ( AQA, OCR, EDEXCEL) etc..
Prose: Of Mice and men, Animal farm, Frankenstein, etc..

I can also help with KS3/ A Level English literature on request.

My qualifications
GCSE English Language and Literature: grade 9
GCSE public speaking: DISTINCTION
A level English Literature : A, with 39/40 for the NEA ( non- examined assessment)
LAMDA grade 6 public speaking award: DISTINCTION
LAMDA grade 6 prose and verse award: MERIT
