Friendly Education graduate at University of Manchester, aimed at students who want to improve their Chinese/Math ability.

I have two years of teaching experience at Huaxia Chinese School, which is a Sunday Charity School in Manchester, where I supported students in weekend Chinese lessons. I also have a strong academic background in Mathematics, having achieved A grades in both A-level Mathematics and Further Mathematics, with 86% in Mathematics and 82% in Further Mathematics. My teaching style is patient, clear and encouraging. I adapt lessons to each student’s level, confidence and goals. For Chinese lessons, I can support pronunciation, vocabulary, reading, writing, speaking practice and cultural understanding, and Chinese is my first language. For Maths lessons, I focus on helping students understand concepts clearly, practise step by step, and build confidence in solving problems. I will use clear explanations, interactive activities, worked examples and regular feedback to help students feel more confident and motivated. I believe a good lesson should not only help students improve academically, but also make them feel comfortable asking questions and expressing their ideas.
