Advert description
I have previous experience teaching both Economics and Mathematics, which has helped me understand how to adapt lessons to different abilities and learning styles. When teaching, I first identify the student’s current level, the topics they find difficult and the goals they want to achieve. I then break complex ideas into simple, logical steps, using real-world examples in Economics and worked examples in Mathematics to make concepts easier to understand. I encourage students to attempt questions themselves before guiding them through areas where they are struggling, rather than simply giving them the answer. I also use past-paper questions, short quizzes and regular recap exercises to check understanding and track progress. From my previous teaching experience, I have found that this structured and supportive approach helps students become more confident, improve their problem-solving skills and achieve stronger academic results. I would continue to tailor each lesson based on the student’s progress and provide clear feedback on what they are doing well and where they can improve.
