Experienced Mandarin Tutor | Fun, Personalised Lessons for Children & Adults

I am an experienced Chinese language tutor with a Master’s degree in TESOL from the University of Brighton and many years of language teaching experience.

I teach both Mandarin and Cantonese to children and adults, from beginners to learners who already speak some Chinese but would like to improve their reading, vocabulary and confidence.

My lessons are personalised rather than simply following a textbook. For children, I use stories, pictures, word games, mind maps and Chinese character components to help them understand how characters and words are connected. I also connect Chinese learning with everyday life, making lessons engaging, memorable and practical.

For adult learners, lessons can focus on practical conversation, pronunciation, vocabulary, reading or individual learning goals.

Every learner is different, so I adapt my teaching to their level, interests and needs.
