Hello, I'm Taher Ahmed, a Computer Science undergraduate at Queen Mary University of London with a genuine passion for helping students succeed academically. Having achieved excellent results in my own GCSEs and A-levels, including top grades in Mathematics and Computer Science, I understand both the challenges students face and the strategies needed to overcome them.

I began tutoring because I enjoy seeing students grow in confidence and realise that subjects they once found difficult can become manageable and even enjoyable. I believe that patience, encouragement, and clear explanations are just as important as subject knowledge.

As someone from a multicultural background who speaks multiple languages, I value building positive relationships with students and creating a supportive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and learning from mistakes. Nothing is more rewarding to me than seeing a student achieve results they once thought were beyond their reach.

Every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to suit their individual needs, learning style, and academic goals. My teaching focuses on building strong foundations, improving confidence, and developing effective exam techniques. Lessons are interactive and make use of a real-time online whiteboard, past paper questions, digital resources, and regular progress tracking to ensure steady improvement.

A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged during exam periods. I teach GCSE Mathematics, Science, and Computer Science, as well as A-Level Mathematics and Computer Science, supporting students of all abilities. Whether a student is aiming to secure a pass, improve by several grades, or achieve top marks, I adapt my approach to help them reach their potential.

With over two years of tutoring experience, I have helped many students significantly improve their understanding, confidence, and exam performance. My goal is not only to help students achieve excellent results but also to develop independent learning skills that benefit them beyond the classroom.
