Experienced GCSE & A-Level Biology and Chemistry Tutor | Online Lessons

I am an experienced Biology and Chemistry tutor offering personalised online lessons for GCSE, IGCSE, O Level, AS Level, A Level and International A Level students. I teach across AQA, Pearson Edexcel, Cambridge and OCR specifications, adapting each lesson to the examination board, learning needs and goals of the individual student. Whether you need help understanding difficult topics, catching up with schoolwork or preparing for examinations, I provide structured support in a patient and encouraging environment.

My qualifications include an MSc in Organic Chemistry, an MS in Biomedical Sciences and a Bachelor of Education in Secondary Education. I have approximately twelve years of experience across classroom teaching and online tuition. I taught Chemistry at Army Public School and College from October 2015 until February 2022, and I now teach online through Exceled Academy. This combination of scientific knowledge and teaching experience helps me explain challenging ideas clearly and recognise common difficulties before they become barriers to progress.

My lessons begin with understanding your current knowledge, confidence and priorities. We identify the topics you find challenging and create a practical learning plan. I explain concepts step by step, using diagrams, examples, questions and guided practice. You will have opportunities to ask questions throughout the lesson, explain your reasoning and practise applying what you have learned. I adjust the pace when necessary, ensuring that you understand the foundations before moving to more demanding material.

In Chemistry, I can support you with atomic structure, bonding, calculations, energetics, rates, equilibrium, acids and bases, electrochemistry and organic chemistry. We work through calculations carefully, paying attention to units, equations and logical steps. For organic chemistry, I help students understand structures, reactions and mechanisms rather than relying entirely on memorisation. We also practise interpreting experimental information, analysing results and answering questions about practical methods, accuracy, uncertainty and evaluation.
