English Tutor Teaching Students of All Ages

I have a Bachelor's degree and Master's from the University of Edinburgh. I am available to teach English language, grammar, academic writing, and IELTS, working with learners from beginner level through to advanced study. I have taught students ranging from young children to adults in both one-to-one and group settings.

My lessons are structured around the needs and goals of each student. I focus on explaining language clearly, identifying specific areas for improvement, and giving students practical strategies they can apply independently. For IELTS students, I can help with the demands of the Reading, Writing, Listening, and Speaking components, with particular attention to written expression, structure, accuracy, and developing ideas clearly.

Having learned English as a second language myself, I understand the challenges involved in becoming confident and precise in another language. I aim to make lessons rigorous but approachable, with clear explanations, useful feedback, and plenty of opportunity to practise.
