I believe in encouraging conversation by asking questions, rephrasing the student’s answers, and giving prompts that encourage oral discussions to continue—maintaining eye contact with students during instruction and encouraging them to do the same. This will help me gauge the students' attention and adjust their language, volume, or speech organization. Reminding the students to speak loudly and articulate helps them to be clear and loud enough as well as encourages them to communicate their information and opinions effectively. I Incorporate a “question of the day.” and ask questions to boost comprehension. I never assume students understand my instructional talk and I ask to make sure they do.
