Encouraging creative native English language/literature tutor. 7 yrs private tuition experience - beginners to A level and SEND

I hold an English Literature BA (Hons) Leeds University. I will enable you to discover your natural abilities and recognise an interest in English language / literature you may not have experienced previously. I’ll achieve this by encouraging you to acknowledge your own responses are key to creative writing and analysing literary texts. We can practice expressing these to successfully make points and score marks (maybe even become a budding writer or poet!). I will also provide tools to break down questions into manageable tasks together with examination technique and practice. My thorough knowledge of literary technique will also enable you to easily tackle any questions on writer’s technique and can be used to train and embellish your own writing. I always work as a team with my students. Their specific needs teach me how to teach them and each pupil is a unique and interesting partner for me to work with.
