Advert description
I’m a warm, empathetic and supportive coach who enjoys helping people make sense of what they’re experiencing, build confidence and work towards positive change. My approach is non-judgemental and student-led, creating a space where students can talk openly, reflect on their challenges and identify practical steps that feel realistic for them.
My sessions are aimed particularly at students who may be feeling overwhelmed, lacking confidence, struggling with motivation, adjusting to change or finding it difficult to balance different demands in their lives. I’m especially interested in helping students develop self-awareness, recognise their strengths and build strategies that support their wellbeing, confidence and personal development.
I have completed CPCAB training in counselling skills, developing practical experience through structured skills practice, reflective learning, peer feedback and observed helping sessions. I have developed strong skills in active listening, empathy, open questioning, paraphrasing, reflecting feelings, summarising and helping others explore their thoughts and concerns.
