The first lesson will be an opportunity for me to explore the students weak points and discuss what they need support with while also building a trust bond with the student to ensure they feel comfortable making mistakes. From then I will personalise each lesson to their target. I will do more research into their specification for their English course and see what targets need an extra lesson or not. Near the end of our sessions I will have them complete an assessment appropriate for their age group and see how far they've improved and what still needs a little more attention before the end of our course.
