Biology tutor teaching both A-Level and GCSE

I am an enthusiastic tutor with 3 years of experience supporting pupils of different ages, abilities and learning needs, both in tutoring and school settings. I tutor GCSE and A-level Biology, Chemistry and Psychology, as well as 11+ exam entry, UCAT preparation, personal statements and dental school interview support.

Having achieved five grade 9s, two grade 8s and two grade 7s at GCSE, followed by 3 grade As in A-level Biology, Chemistry and Psychology and a 2120 (band 1) UCAT score, I understand the demands of working towards challenging academic goals. I am now studying Dentistry at KCL, and enjoy sharing the knowledge and experiences that have helped me along my own academic journey.

My lessons are structured around each pupil’s individual needs. I regularly do progress checks to assess understanding and identify areas that need further attention. I like to use diagrams, quizzes and personalised homework to make lessons engaging while ensuring progress is consistent and measurable.

What I find most rewarding about tutoring is seeing a pupil’s development. Watching a student who once doubted their ability become more confident and motivated is incredibly fulfilling. I want my pupils to leave lessons not only achieving more, but believing more in their abilities.
