Advert description
I hold both an MPhil in Economics from the University of Cambridge and a BSc in Economics from QMU. I attained an average of 88% and 70% respectively, earning me the Constance Maynard Prize from QMU. Upon completion of my MPhil, I took up two roles at the University of Cambridge as a Teaching Assistant and Researcher. These roles have been integral to building up my expertise as a tutor.
As a tutor, I maintain a patient yet engaging approach, with my foremost aim being to guide students through a rigorous and enriching academic journey. I design my tutorials to function much like interactive training sessions, cultivating confidence, sparking curiosity, and encouraging students to look beyond their class material to explore new intellectual terrain.
Highly committed and impeccably organised, I work diligently to ensure that every concept requiring clarification is understood with precision. As a dedicated and fast learner myself, I have quickly established a strong reputation as a confident tutor in A-level Mathematics and CFA Economics. Known for my meticulous attention to detail, I bring a profound passion for Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, and particularly Econometrics, making me a valuable resource for students seeking depth in these disciplines.
Prior Tutee Testimonials:
“Vittoria helped me with microeconomics exam preparation; I would not have done so without her help.”
“Vittoria was an excellent teacher. All her lessons were planned and well thought out, and she explained all concepts with patience. It was easy understanding her sessions because she would ensure I would understand everything in detail and if I required any extra help, we could go over it as many times as I needed.”
