Advert description
Are you a student struggling to wrap your head around psychological concepts?
Or are you curious about a career in psychology and wondering how to achieve your goals, or what your options even are?
Psychology can be as confusing as it is exciting -- as a student, and as a budding professional. I'm passionate about helping others to confidently navigate this, as somebody who's been there.
I offer traditional tutoring for GCSE, A Level and university psychology students, and/or career consultation (think questions like, what can I do with my psychology degree? How do I get my first psychology role after graduation?). My approach is to be warm, supportive, clear and collaborative as we identify your priorities and work towards these, utilising evidence-based strategies.
My experience includes:
- A First Class BSc degree in Psychology
- An MSc degree in Investigative and Forensic Psychology (Stage 1 of professional training in Forensic Psychology)
- A published research paper
- 2+ years professional experience in the NHS, including as an Assistant Psychologist in Addictions
- 2+ years professional experience in the homelessness sector up to managerial level at a local authority
- Professional experience as a neuropsychology research assistant
I hope this demonstrates the range of places a career in psychology can take you.
