I take a patient, relaxed and student-centred approach to teaching, creating an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes. Especially for students who have previously found a subject challenging or stressful, as building confidence is often the first step towards making meaningful academic progress.

I strongly believe in finding a system that works for each new student and sticking to it. This means my approach begins with a short assessment to identify each student's strengths, weaknesses and preferred learning habits. From this, I create a learning plan and progress checklist that both the student and I can refer to. My aim is to make the maths and chemistry curricula less daunting by providing absolute clarity, while making consistent learning more enjoyable as students can see themselves improving in real time.

Qualifications: First Class Degree in Chemistry from the University of Warwick
