A* Sixth Form student with tutoring experience looking to teach SATs to GCSE Level Chemistry

I’m a big believer in the idea that everybody has the potential to achieve top grades in any subject, no matter their current ability. In my lessons, I will aim to pinpoint any areas which a student may be struggling and help them build a deeper understanding for key concepts, which will help set them up for success. I’ve been tutoring as part of a Refugee Tutoring programme for just under a year now and also have a number of students on the Online Tutoring platform Superprof, which has taught me a lot about how to make learning engaging and accessible for all kinds of students. It’s been a really rewarding experience so far, and I’ve learnt a lot about the importance of patience and adaptability in teaching. Additionally, I make sure to pre plan my lessons based upon the students weakest topics and I set weekly homework, which are combinations of weaker topics and key exam questions from past papers.
