Maths is fundamentally about problem‑solving. My approach isn’t focused on simply getting answers right or wrong; instead, I help students appreciate the value of trial and error and develop strong critical‑thinking skills. I emphasise the “why” behind each part of the curriculum to make maths meaningful and engaging. With extensive frontline experience, I bring empathy, patience, and a supportive teaching style to every lesson.
I have previous experience teaching GCSE Maths during my undergraduate studies. I’ve accepted a place to begin a PGCE in Mathematics at University College London this September. In addition, I hold postgraduate qualifications in Leadership and Management, as well as Project Management.
