I usually tutor on the topics that the students have covered in their classrooms.
I ask the child if there is anything they didn’t understand during their lessons and if it is something simple I explain the reasoning behind the answer straight away. If the child has a deeply flawed understanding of the subject, I go to the relevant CGP Book with the chapter on the topic covered and go through the whole topic with the child, explaining every pointless and clearing up any confusion and misconceptions the child has. After the chapter is completed, I encourage the child to take a short break, walk around a bit, ?? drink some juice and also have a snack .After the relaxation, the child is given a small test of about ten questions. I quickly mark the paper and give explanations for all the answers they got wrong and also run through the correct questions ensuring
sound reasoning was used to solve derive at the correct answers.



I have worked as a supply Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant and a Cover Supervisor in a number of schools, both Primary and Secondary. In the
Republic of Ireland I was awarded the first prize for my presentation on Immunodeficiency Syndromes. I have done and passed international medical licensing exams with scores including 93% in the
Sciences paper eg. USMLE & PLAB.
I have a few more years to go before retirement and I hope to spend those years doing the best I can for the coming generations.
