When I met Edd, he could easily have thought my fingers were raw hot dogs... But after a few weeks of learning with Edd I can now play in time, hit the right notes, and occasionally even both at the same time! Edd made sure to cover everything I could need: finger technique, rhythm, and how to look like I know what I'm doing.
Most importantly, Edd creates a space where it's safe to be rubbish and has enough patience to listen to my slow progress week on week. He treats my stumbling attempts at bass lines as if they’re all part of a noble journey, like I am Frodo and he is Samwise, supporting me on my quest up mount doom to destroy the one ring, if mount doom is my bass guitar and the ring is Thundercat's Them Changes.
If you want to actually get better at bass without losing the will to live, Edd is the high priest of low frequencies for you!
