From my own experience, the best method to learn a language is to get immersed in the language in all the possible means, by changing the settings on the phone to the language you need to learn, the apps with a voice included as those for directions as Maps or Waze, your Alexa, even when you're not paying attention the brain will automatically retain the information. Likewise, I like to teach Spanish using facts, images, or fun interactions to seed in the brain that image and relate it to the specific word or sentence.
