A Level Chemistry Student, achieved Grade 9 at GCSE

I have achieved a Grade 9 at GCSE Chemistry and understand the struggles you may have. However, through my experience as a current A Level Chemistry student, I have developed many techniques that help simplify complex content, strengthen exam technique and improve long-term retention of information.

Studying Chemistry at a higher level has allowed me to recognise common misconceptions and identify the areas students often find most challenging. I can break down difficult topics into clear, manageable steps and use active recall, spaced repetition, and structured exam practice to reinforce understanding.

Through preparing for advanced assessments, I have also refined my ability to analyse mark schemes carefully and understand exactly what examiners are looking for. This enables me to guide students not only in understanding the content but in communicating their answers effectively to secure top marks. My recent experience means I can provide relevant advice, relatable strategies, and practical study methods that genuinely work!
