GCSE Spanish & French Tutor – Online or In-Person (Liverpool)

I have always been passionate about languages and travel, and I have been fortunate to combine both in my personal and professional life. Alongside my studies, I lived and worked in Spain and France, where I built strong linguistic and cultural knowledge while working as a Training Consultant for pharmaceutical companies.

I have been tutoring privately since graduating from university, working with both adults and young people. I particularly enjoy supporting adult learners who are developing language skills for travel or personal interest, as well as students working towards their GCSEs.

I have successfully tutored students through GCSE Spanish and French, achieving notable improvements in grades and confidence — even with just one focused lesson per week supported by light, manageable homework.

I hold a Master’s degree in Psychology and provide both Coaching and Counselling services. This experience allows me to quickly build rapport, understand individual learning needs and support students who may feel anxious or lack confidence with languages. Parents often value my calm, patient teaching style and my ability to motivate students while maintaining high expectations.

Lessons are fully tailored to each student. In the first session, I assess current ability and confidence, then create a personalised learning plan aligned with GCSE Spanish and French specifications. Sessions focus on all four key exam skills — listening, speaking, reading and writing — with targeted exam practice and clear feedback so students understand how to improve.

I track progress carefully and keep lessons engaging and well-structured. I am familiar with current GCSE exam papers and marking schemes and ensure students understand how to gain marks and avoid common pitfalls.

I offer tuition online or from my home in Liverpool, with availability after school, evenings and weekends. Additional or intensive sessions are available during exam periods to provide extra support when it matters most.

My aim is to give students the confidence, skills and exam technique they need to succeed at GCSE, while giving parents reassurance that their child is receiving high-quality, reliable support.
