Experienced English tutor for literature and language

I have three years of online tutoring experience in English literature and language for students of all ages, specialising in Secondary education (GCSE and A-Level), with extensive experience supporting SEN students. Every student I have worked with has improved their grades.

My teaching style is tailored to each student's needs. I focus on building genuine confidence with texts rather than just exam technique, breaking down complex ideas into manageable steps and adapting my approach for different learning styles, especially when working with SEN students. Whether a student needs help finding their voice in essays, untangling a difficult novel, or building exam confidence from scratch, I meet them where they are.

I am currently studying English at the University of Liverpool and am on track for a First-Class Honours degree. I was awarded the Bertram White Brontë Prize in 2026, and I am a published author of short fiction.
