PGCE secondary maths teacher, GCSE maths tutor

Hi, I’m Bethany! I have a BSc (Hons) in Education Studies with Mathematics and have recently completed my PGCE in Secondary Mathematics. Through my teaching experience in secondary schools, I have worked with students across Years 7-11, helping learners of all abilities develop their mathematical understanding and confidence.

I understand that every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to suit the individual. My aim is to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning from their mistakes. I break challenging topics into manageable steps and adapt my teaching to help each student reach their full potential.

I offer one-to-one GCSE maths, with lessons typically lasting one hour. Whether you need help with a specific topic, regular support throughout the school year, or focused revision before exams, I will work with you to improve your confidence, understanding and exam technique.

I am passionate about making maths less intimidating and helping students achieve their goals. I look forward to supporting you on your journey to GCSE success!
