My lessons are all tailored around you! I will bring confidence by tailoring the lessons to your weaknesses! We can go through homework 1 to 1 and play maths games to improve enjoyment in Maths!!
I will start off with a fun starter! Then model a topic with an example as I do ( watch how I am answering this question), then a We do ( together), You do (independently)! This approach will build confidence and this can be presented on visually on whiteboards or paper or on a screen pictorially! After we have completed that we will round off the session with a fun plenary to show our understanding!!

My experience tutoring has been enjoyable and have improved a previous pupil’s maths ability dramatically! He was scoring 5/50 on tests and improved up to 40/50 in the 2 months I was tutoring him! He then felt more confident going into his classes at school and went up a set additionally! I’m very adaptable to the individual needs and have been teaching maths for the past 3 years and have lots of Maths resources to cater for your child!! If your child is mastery and I can improve their maths ability by implementing contextualised maths questions linking to everyday life!!
