After 11 years of teaching, I've learned what kind of student I work with best - learners at intermediate level and above who want to make real progress over months and years, not quick fixes. My students have come from all over - China, Singapore, Malaysia, and Taiwan - though over the years, I've developed particular experience working with Chinese-speaking learners.

Whether you want to become more confident in conversation, improve your writing, prepare for an exam, or develop your English for work, we'll build a plan around what you actually need. Every student is different, so our first lesson is a proper conversation about where you are, where you want to get to, and how I'll work with you to get there.

I take notes throughout each lesson and send you a written summary afterwards with specific things to work on. We move at your pace.

After every class, I send you a written progress report and a tailored homework task for the week ahead. I adapt materials and homework to your level and goals - there's no rigid curriculum to follow.
