My classes follow a consistent structure each week, with familiar opening and closing routines, and a clear middle section where we focus on whatever you're working on that week. I work this way deliberately. From experience, once students know what to expect from a lesson, they relax. And students who feel comfortable speak more, try harder things, and build confidence faster. Confidence comes from feeling comfortable, not from being pushed.

After every class, I send you a written progress report and a tailored homework task for the week ahead. I adapt materials and homework to your level and goals - there's no rigid curriculum to follow.

My students have come from all over - China, Singapore, Malaysia, and Taiwan - though over the years, I've developed particular experience working with Chinese-speaking learners.

I take notes throughout each lesson and send you a written summary afterwards with specific things to work on. We move at your pace.
