Experienced Maths tutor teaching ages 4 to 16

I am a well experienced key stage two case stage three maths tutor and have been tutoring this curriculum for the past seven years. I have a degree in accounting and spend my days buried in excel spreadsheets & my brain clouded with a mental arithmetic. I have been tutoring online since 2020 as well and find a number of fun engaging way to teach maths to young people and help them forget their challenges, struggles and even anxiety towards the subject of maths. I have a number of success stories and high achieving students. My favourite success story has to be taking on a young person who hated maths and would not answer any questions in exams hence would be getting 0 to now loving maths and achieving 70% and above in their tests and exams.

Overall, I love being a great maths tutor but being that comes with being a good role model and inspiring figure for young people which I strive to be always. I make sure that I am listening to my young people, understand their concerns and respond in the best way possible whether that’s a maths related or just personal.
