Lesson Dynamics and Content
We focus heavily on deep understanding rather than blind memorisation. A standard 60 to 90-minute lesson is structured to maximise engagement:
• The Blueprint (First 10 mins): We kick off with a rapid-fire active recall quiz to test your memory of the previous week's formulas.
• The Breakdown (Middle 40–70 mins): I introduce the new mathematical concept, dissect the underlying logic, and model how to solve it. We then tackle problems together, scaling up the difficulty until you can confidently solve them independently.
• The Reality Check (Final 10 mins): We look directly at real-world data or official exam board questions (Edexcel, AQA, OCR, or SQA) to see how the math is applied under pressure.
