Advert description
I’m a medical student at the University of Leicester and an A* A* A* A-Level achiever in Biology, Chemistry and Economics. I tutor GCSE and A-Level Biology and Chemistry, helping students understand challenging topics, build confidence and develop the exam technique needed to achieve their goals.
I achieved A*A*A* grades in both Biology and Chemistry (and Economics) at A Level*, and I have consistently ranked in the top 10% of my year in every medical school summative examination, every year. This has given me a strong understanding of how to learn and retain large amounts of scientific information effectively, as well as how to approach challenging exam questions.
My lessons are friendly, structured and tailored to each student. I focus on breaking difficult concepts down into simple, memorable explanations, then reinforcing understanding through active recall, exam-style questions and targeted practice. I want students to feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes, while still keeping lessons focused on making measurable progress.
Whether you are struggling with a particular topic, preparing for exams or aiming to move from a good grade to an A/A*, I will work with you to identify your weaker areas and build lessons around your individual goals.
I also have experience creating medical examination questions for fellow students, which has strengthened my ability to write clear questions and understand what makes an effective assessment.
What you can expect: clear explanations, personalised lessons, active recall, exam-style practice, exam technique and a supportive learning environment.
