Qualified Science Teacher | Former Assistant Director of Science | GCSE Biology, Chemistry & Physics and A-Level Biology

I am a qualified Science teacher with over six years of teaching experience, including experience as an Assistant Director of Science. My Year 11 students achieve almost a full grade above pupils nationally with similar prior attainment. I have also supported over 50 students through the National Tutoring Programme, with some making up to three grades of progress.

Every one-hour lesson is personalised to the individual student, with a strong focus on building confidence, understanding and exam technique. New concepts are clearly explained and modelled before students practise independently. I use regular questioning and knowledge checks to identify misconceptions and adjust the pace of learning.

I teach students aged 11–18, including GCSE Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Combined Science for AQA and Edexcel, as well as A-level Biology.
