I am a dedicated and enthusiastic GCSE History teacher with experience supporting students of varying abilities to achieve strong academic outcomes and grow in confidence. I specialise in making complex historical topics accessible and engaging, using clear explanations, structured scaffolding, and exam-focused strategies to help students succeed.

My strengths include in-depth knowledge of key AQA GCSE History topics such as medicine through time, the Elizabethan era, the Cold War, and Weimar and Nazi Germany. I have a strong track record of improving student attainment through targeted feedback, effective modelling of exam answers, and focused revision techniques.

I am skilled at identifying gaps in understanding and adapting my teaching to meet individual needs, ensuring all learners are supported and challenged appropriately. I also place a strong emphasis on exam technique, helping students understand how to structure responses to achieve higher marks.
