Providing maths and science tutoring to students in GCSEs and A levels with a personalised approach

I am a student who recently has been through both exams and have had 3 years of tutoring experience within my school. I was predicted 5A*s in a levels and received 9's in my GCSEs. I teach using a personalised method by first sitting down and discussing a 3 month plan with the student and parent and then assess the students weak points by just giving a question from each topic that can be assessed. My teaching philosophy is the student learns the best when they are given the tools to work something out for themselves instead of being shown how to do it.
