Online English tutor for A Level and GCSE

Hi, my name is Cara Hughes. I am currently a second year student at the University of Leeds studying a joint honours degree in Ancient History and History. I achieved high grades in all of my A Levels including an A* in English Literature. I am incredibly passionate about English and this passion makes me an ideal tutor in the subject.

I have experience working alongside children in KS1 and KS2, volunteering in an after school club and supporting educational visits. I believe in creating a friendly and relaxed environment for students in order to maximise their potential. I cater my lessons to accomodate any goals or worries that the student might want to address and my lesson plans remain flexible in case the student wants to focus on a particular issue that week. I offer a free 20 minute session to have a quick chat with the student and introduce myself.
