All my lessons will be prepared in advance with a focus on topics requested by the student and will incorporate ways that they have told me they prefer to learn. I haven't stopped learning and my continued passion for learning about the natural world and reading al kinds of books makes my teaching engaging and authentic.

My experience is in teaching topics from geography and biology, and I have expertise in English Literature.
In my A-level coursework I received distinctions for Geography and English Literature.
I have a first class degree (with hons) in BSc Sustainability and Environmental Management at University of Leeds.

Let me know what is best for your learner: going through mark schemes and breaking down what they need to do to achieve top marks, read through course work, going through practice tests, or in-depth lessons on particular topics they are finding difficult.
I remember how much pressure exams are, something I am sure has only increased for students currently, and that classroom teaching is not always enough or suited each individual.
I also understand how it can be a tricky financial decision to pay for extra tuition so I do not take that trust lightly and am happy to have a phone call to see if I am someone that will be a good match for your student.

I have a professional background in support work, project coordination and administration. I am organised, patient and empathetic and will be happy to listen to what the learner is finding difficult and spend as long as is needed to understand even the smallest topics or ideas.
