Engaging Chinese lessons online for all levels with a supportive tutor from Kingston University

Hi! I’m Tingyi, a Chinese student currently studying at Kingston University in the UK. I’d love to help you feel more comfortable using Chinese, whether you’re starting from scratch or looking for more conversation practice. Studying abroad has helped me understand how challenging it can feel to express yourself in another language. In our lessons, you’ll have time to think, ask questions and make mistakes without feeling rushed. We can work on pronunciation, useful vocabulary and everyday conversations, choosing topics that interest you and moving at a pace that feels right for you. My background is in visual design and media, so I enjoy making ideas clear through pictures and creative examples. I’d bring this approach into our lessons with visual materials and practical activities. I also have volunteer teaching experience in China, which showed me how valuable encouragement and clear explanations can be.
