SEND Specialist Maths Tutor; Camera Off, No Pressure, Built Around You

I specialise in working with students who have struggled in traditional education settings, young people with EHCPs, anxiety, autism, ADHD, dyscalculia, and complex SEND needs. If other tutors have found your child difficult to engage, that is exactly where I work best.
I have been tutoring Maths for nearly 10 years, working with students from KS2 through to Post-16 across AQA, Edexcel, OCR and WJEC. I hold active contracts delivering EOTAS provision for three local councils and work across all 13 SEND categories.
My sessions look nothing like a traditional lesson. Camera off always, removing that pressure makes an enormous difference for anxious students. Every session is built around the individual on that day. I use a Pictorial-Conceptual-Abstract approach with scaffolded learning, adapting mid-session without hesitation when needed.
One student went from 0% school attendance across three consecutive terms to 98% attendance in the two terms we worked together. Another student who couldn't use their hands reliably needed a science qualification. I sourced the route and they got it.
I spend 20 minutes writing up every session and 40 minutes planning the next one. Every time.
