Advert description
I'm a qualified teacher with a specialism in primary education and SEND, currently working as a SENDCo in Devon. I'm partway through my NPQ SENDCo qualification and bring hands-on experience of supporting pupils with a wide range of needs — including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, SEMH difficulties, and speech and language needs.
I offer tutoring across KS1 and KS2 in English and maths, and I specialise in supporting children who learn differently. Whether your child has an identified SEND need, is finding school a struggle, or simply needs patient, experienced support to build confidence, I tailor every session to the individual child.
My approach is relational and adaptive. I get to know how each child thinks, what motivates them, and what gets in the way — and I build sessions around that.
I also have direct KS1 class teaching experience, so I understand exactly what children are working towards in school and how to complement their classroom learning effectively.
I'm well-placed to support families navigating the SEND system too — whether that's understanding your child's provision, preparing for annual reviews, or knowing what to ask at school meetings.
Sessions available online via video call or in person across Devon. Happy to have a free initial chat before you commit to anything.
