Marcus is a preceptive, knowledgeable and thorough educator. Having tutored my daughter over the summer, it is clear that he understands the demands of exam boards and universities, and dynamically adjusts his teaching to be suitable for every student. Marcus first ensured that my daughter had sufficient prerequisite knowledge before proceeding with any advanced topics required in achieving her goals. He recognised the need for detail and did not hesitate to question further, guaranteeing that she was confident in both general understanding and approaches in answering specific exam question styles. Furthermore, being a member of the scientific community, Marcus encouraged deeper exploration of Biology, often giving topic-adjacent facts, which acted as an opportunity to develop supercurriculars to be put in her personal statement.
