My teaching approach is personalised, structured and confidence-focused. I first assess the student's current understanding and identify any gaps, then tailor each lesson to their level, learning style and goals. I break complex topics into clear, manageable steps and use questioning and worked examples to develop genuine understanding rather than memorisation. I encourage students to explain their thinking, make mistakes safely and gradually become more independent problem-solvers. I also use exam-style questions and targeted practice to reinforce learning and prepare students for assessments. Having taught A-Level students and provided private GCSE Maths tuition, I understand the importance of combining high academic expectations with patience, encouragement and clear communication.
