A Level and GCSE Biology Tutoring for Exams and Summer

I am a dedicated Biology tutor with Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Biology, specialising in AQA, OCR, Edexcel International A Level, and GCSE Biology. My expertise includes cell biology, genetics, human physiology, ecology, and biochemistry.

With three years of teaching experience, over 300 tutorials delivered, and a 100% pass rate, I have helped students strengthen both their subject understanding and exam technique. I am highly familiar with specification requirements, practical skills, and mark scheme expectations across the major exam boards.

My teaching focuses on helping students genuinely understand Biology rather than relying on memorisation alone. I use a structured Socratic approach in lessons, asking targeted questions that encourage students to explain concepts in their own words, make connections between topics, and develop the confidence to tackle unfamiliar questions independently.

I also believe exam preparation should feel manageable, not overwhelming. A key part of my teaching is showing students how to properly learn from mark schemes and build effective revision habits through consistent “little and often” exam practice. By combining targeted questioning with strategic use of past papers and exam-style questions, I help students improve both confidence and performance.
