Qualified Primary Teacher | English Lead | 11+ & Primary Specialist | English, Maths & SEN

I’m a qualified and experienced primary teacher and English Lead, passionate about helping children become confident, independent and enthusiastic learners.

I offer personalised tuition for children from Reception through to Year 6, including 11+ preparation, SATs, English, maths, phonics, reading, writing and handwriting. I also have experience supporting children with SEN and different learning needs, adapting my teaching so that every child can make progress at their own pace.

My approach is friendly, encouraging and child-centred. I believe children learn best when they feel comfortable, understood and successful, so I take the time to understand each child’s individual strengths, areas for development and learning style.

For 11+ preparation, I focus not only on practising questions, but on building the skills, confidence and exam techniques children need to approach the tests successfully. I have supported pupils through the 11+ process and understand how important it is to make preparation manageable and engaging.

As a teacher, I bring classroom experience and knowledge of the primary curriculum to every session. Whether your child needs a confidence boost, additional support with a particular area, preparation for an upcoming assessment, or more challenging work to stretch them, I will tailor sessions to their needs.

My aim is simple: to help every child feel capable, make progress and enjoy learning.
