Advert description
Hi, I’m Bradley, a Computer Science student at the University of Edinburgh with an A* in A Level Maths. I know that Maths can be daunting sometimes, which is why I’m dedicated to teaching lessons that are fun, relatable and enjoyable. I aim to create a supportive, pressure-free space where you are free to work at your own pace, with me guiding you and answering your questions along the way, so that we can tackle tricky topics together. Maths isn’t just about numbers; it’s about unlocking new ways to think and tackle problems, and I’m here to help you unlock them.
My goal is simple: to help you become a capable, confident mathematician. I’ll start by getting a clear picture of your strengths, weaknesses and targets, then plan personalised lessons that focus on giving you help where it's needed the most. No two students are the same, so my lessons are flexible: if a topic isn't clicking, I'll adapt on the spot and approach it from a different angle.
I believe learning should be active. I will encourage you to talk through your thinking, attempt questions independently, and ask questions freely. Mistakes are part of the process and we’ll always turn them into new learning opportunities.
To track progress, I'll revisit past areas of struggle, use exam questions where appropriate, and record progress for each student so I can maintain an open conversation between me, the student, and their parents about how things are going.
Seeing genuine improvement is one of the most rewarding aspects of tutoring for me, and I want you to feel a sense of progress in every lesson, no matter how big or small. If you’re looking for someone patient, enthusiastic, and committed to setting you up for success in Maths, I’d love to work with you!
