Advert description
Despite being dyslexic and having ADHD, I achieved Senior Dux at high school and am now pursuing a degree in Philosophy at a Russell Group University.
As a result, I have a strong understanding of the problems neurodivergent students face, along with an idea of the kinds of strategies and support systems that can help them succeed. I believe that more often that not, students require support on an organisational rather than intellectual level. Many neurodivergent students are made to feel stupid by an education system that wasn't designed to support their brains, and deeply benefit from a more tailored approach to learning.
I will help students by creating manageable study plans for coursework and revision, developing their executive function skills, and employing visual and creative learning methods (many neurodivergent students may be stronger verbally or artistically).
